  • CEPII provides data on distances between cities and includes other variables such as language.  Free registration is required.
  • PRIO has data on the length of international boundaries since 1815 and minimum distance data.
  • NBER has created datasets for distance among various census area (counties, cities, places, census blocks, and census tracts).   [Page down to Other towards the bottom of listings.]
