  • Use Bloomberg, available in Firestone (A Floor - RIS Suite),
    • Worldwide economic calendars.
      • Type WECO and hit GO
      • Click on Change Calendar to pick a country.
    • U.S. economic calendars.
      • Type ECO and hit GO
  • ​​Newswires
    • It may be possible to use newswire sources in databases like Factiva and LexisNexis Academic. For example the Reuters News file in Factiva has an article from 12/9/88 reporting that Switzerland had just released its 3rd quarter GDP number, which showed a 1.9% growth rate.
