​TIPS are a treasury bond whose principal is adjusted to reflect the changes in the CPI.  When the security matures, the US Treasury pays the greater of the original or adjusted principal.

Several data sources:

  • Bloomberg – under government some tickers are GTII5, GTII10, GTII20 and GTII30. 
  • Datastream – restrict to index-linked bonds United States.
