To unzip files that have an extension .gzip, you can

- use WinZip. DSS lab computers have WinZip installed.
- install 7 zip on your computer. The program is free. Note that you can not install programs on public computers like OIT cluster, library, or lab computers.
- use tombstone or arizona. Once logged in using Secure Shell, type
gunzip filename_to_be_unzipped.gzip.
