Reinhardt and Rogoff's paper "From Financial Crash to Debt Crisis," American Economic Review, August 2011 includes a dataset of financial crises for 70 countries from 1800-2010. Look in the "Download Data Set" section; the financial crises data are in the "Varieties" spreadsheet.
