  • For journal articles, use ECONLIT.
  • For books, search "Government Business Enterprises--China" in the Catalog.

    • To find Chinese state-owned enterprise (SOE) summary statistics
    • Click down the following path:
      • China Premium Database
      • Business and Economic Survey
      • Enterprise Survey and Financial Data
        • See the headings:
          • Non-Financial Enterprise:  State Owned and Holding
          • Non-Financial Enterprise:  State Owned and Holding: Central Management
      • Also do a keyword search for SOE and many more specialized items appear.
  • China Statistical Yearbook Database (CNKI)
    • Search the China Statistical Yearbook
    • Click on the Industry Chapter to find Chinese state-owned enterprise (SOE) summary statistics

    • Make sure to use the native interface to identify whether a specific public company is a Chinese state-owned enterprise,
