The U.S. Department of Education maintains a website with the following:
- School data provides information about schools participating in the Title IV programs.
- Distribution of Federal Pell Grant Program Funds by Institution
- FAFSA Volume Reports "show the total number of FAFSAs submitted by award year. FAFSA Data by Postsecondary School indicates the number of FAFSAs that were sent to each school and FAFSA Data by State show the number of applications by state of legal residence."
- Federal Student Loan Portfolio The office of Federal Student Aid is responsible for directly managing or overseeing an outstanding federal student loan portfolio comprised of billions of dollars in Title IV loans and representing millions of borrowers. This federal student loan portfolio includes Direct Loans, Federal Family Education Loans (FFEL), and Perkins Loans with outstanding balances. The reports provide information about the federal student loan portfolio.
Federal Family Education Loan Program lender and guaranty agency reports provide information about the FFEL program as well as important guaranty agency information. {Note: the FFEL program is no longer active..."As a result of the Health Care and Education Reconciliation Act of 2010, no new FFEL Program loans will be made, beginning July 1, 2010."}
