Tier Ratios are associated with the Basel Accord.

Tier 1 Capital ratio is the bank's capital over the banks risk-weighted assets.

Tier 1 Capital ratio = (Shareholder Equity + Retained Earnings) / (Risk weighted Assets)

The variable is available in many general financial applications including LSEG Workspace, Capital IQ, and Bloomberg.
