Princeton University Library welcomes visitors to use its collections on-site. For the purposes of library access, a visitor is considered anyone who does not hold an active TigerCard, which are only available to active students, faculty, staff, and university affiliates.
You are welcome to make a reservation to visit the library. Please note that you will need a photo ID to get your day pass. Visitors who book a day pass need to arrive during the open hours of the Access Desk. Upon arrival, please visit the Welcome Desk or the Access Desk in the Firestone Library lobby, let them know you have a reservation, and they will issue you a day pass.
There are 25 passes a day available to the general public. Reservations can be made the day of the visit providing there are reservations available. Ticket holders may print tickets or show it on their phone. Please remember to bring photo identification.
