The Unemployment Insurance Financial Data Handbook gives a variety of benefit measures including average monthly covered employment, benefits paid, claims data, average weekly benefit, and federal-state extended benefits from 1938. The figures are taken from reports submittted by the State Workforce Agencies to the Employment and Training Administration of the U.S. Department of Labor.
